VCF Athletics offers classes seven days a week for every age range and skill level. From “Burn” (think bootcamp style), to both Olympic (“Weightlifting”) and power lifting (“Iron Pile”), “Gymnastics,” “Endurance,” “Recover,” and Pilates, our coaches will help you get the most out of your workouts in our welcoming and accommodating small group setting.

What to Expect

Are you a NEW MEMBER or New to VCF Athletics?

Showing up is the hardest part, but it's worth it! Here you will find some information to help make the transition into your fitness journey with VCF a fun and easy one!

Drink plenty of water throughout the day.

Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class time. A team member will give you a tour of our facility, ask about your fitness goals as well as any orthopedic issues we should know about.

Your warm up will start with either biking, running, skiing, or rowing as well as a some light stretching to get the muscles ready.

For the strength training portion, the coach will go over movement standards and will be helping you as needed to ensure safety. 

The coach will explain how to do each movement as well as the stimulus for the workout of the day. Be sure to listen closely and don’t be afraid to ask questions! The coaches are here to help and correct your form if needed.

The coach will lead the class through a cool down.

After class, you will be able to log your results into your BTWB (Beyond the Whiteboard) account. Record your heaviest lifts, personal bests, weigh-ins, and keep track of what you eat and how you sleep.
