VCF Athletics offers classes seven days a week for every age range and skill level.  I’ve always had tons of energy & need to be constantly moving. My parents enrolled me in gymnastics when I was 4 years old and I continued doing recreational gymnastics until I was 18. I was also a cheerleader throughout junior high & high school. I was a flyer until my senior year when I became a main base and was throwing & lifting girls heavier than me. I have tried to stay as active as possible as an adult, going from gym to gym, doing video workouts like P90X & Insanity. I discovered Krav Maga about 7 years ago and was pretty focused on it until I took my 1st CrossFit class.  I loved that I could dust off my old gymnastics skills & also get stronger at the same time! I took the training course through my gym & became a coach a few months later. I have now been teaching there for about 5-6 years & just joined the VCF coaching staff in October of 2021.
In the past 3 years I have left a 15 year career as an assistant editor for an Entertainment News channel so I could focus on coaching/training full time. Between my private clients & coaching I feel more fulfilled helping people get healthier & living fitter lives than I ever did working in a room with no windows. Although I left the entertainment world I still love to watch movies & try to make it to the theatre at least 3 times a week.
